Accountant DIFC Beauty salon experience

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in beauty salon, wellness, or clinic operations to manage the full financial cycle of our DIFC-based business. The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of UAE compliance requirements, and the ability to work closely with management to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Record and reconcile salon transactions (services, packages, retail products, memberships)
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue performance
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and management reports
  • Handle payroll coordination, commissions, and staff incentives calculations
  • Maintain VAT records, prepare VAT filings, and ensure UAE tax compliance
  • Reconcile bank accounts, POS systems, and payment gateways
  • Control inventory accounting for retail and consumables
  • Support budgeting and financial planning processes
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants when required
  • Ensure compliance with DIFC financial regulations and internal procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in a beauty salon, aesthetic clinic, or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or similar)
  • Familiarity with salon/clinic POS systems is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)

Preferred

  • Experience working in DIFC or free zone companies
  • Knowledge of commission structures and package accounting in beauty industry
  • Immediate availability is a plus
