Purpose of Role / Summary:


The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving business strategies, achieving organizational goals, supporting key initiatives, and ensuring the growth and success of wholesale operations. This role involves leading the business development efforts to expand market presence, build strategic partnerships, and identify new opportunities for growth and revenue generation.


Main Activities and Responsibilities:


  • Hire and onboard a high-performing business development team with extensive experience in the industry to drive sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets and other business development goals
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities
  • Identify potential partnerships, local agents and IB’s to expand the company's market reach and drive sales growth
  • Set, monitor, achieve ambitious sales targets, and ensure that business targets meet organizational expectations
  • Supervise, train, and develop the business development team to maximize their sales potential and overall performance
  • Implement effective sales techniques and tools, ensuring the business development team consistently meets or exceeds targets
  • Clearly communicate the company's value proposition, technology, and procedures to external stakeholders to foster partnerships and drive sales
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service, effective retention
  • Stay updated on daily financial market developments and identify new opportunities and suggest growth strategies to management
  • Any other duties relevant to the role

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • 10+ years of proven experience in Sales and business development, in FOREX/ CFD’s broker
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team of Sales in the industry
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives, with quantifiable achievements preferred
  • Excellent managerial, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify business opportunities and trends
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Networking and relationship-building skills to expand the company's client base
  • Understanding of market dynamics and industry trends
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies or trading platforms is a must

  • Working days are Monday to Friday and hours 09:00 -18:00 (including lunch break)
